About the position  

This is a great opportunity to join the rapidly growing sales organization The Linq Group as a Business Development Representative. As a BDR, you get to help grow the client portfolio. How? By generating new B2B sales opportunities. As a BDR you will be responsible for approaching, following up and passing on qualified leads to our Account Executive, who will convert them together with you into new customers.  

To be successful in this role, you ideally have knowledge of lead generation and experience in reaching targets and meeting key objectives. You are highly organized, curious and eager to learn and have a positive attitude about getting new people on the phone daily. 

Your responsibilities in this position  

  • Generate qualified leads for the sales team; 
  • Approach potential customers via cold calling, LinkedIn or email to ensure they are added to the sales pipeline and produce more qualified leads; 
  • Build long-term relationships of trust with customers; 
  • Identify customer needs and link them to our services; 
  • Set up meetings or conversations between potential customers and the Account Executive;  
  • Maintain the customer database (HubSpot) to ensure the sales team has access to up-to-date information on all leads; 

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor/ Academic working and thinking level;  
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email; 
  • Solution-oriented ability and strong analytical skills;  
  • Ambition to grow in a fast growing organization;  
  • You are eager to learn  
  • Perfect command of the Dutch and English language both verbally and in writing;  
  • 0,5 – 2 years of B2B sales experience;  
  • Experience with solution sales;  
  • Followed sales training is a plus  
  • Experience with CRM software (HubSpot) is an advantage;  
  • You live in the Amsterdam area;
